Watershed Studio, St Osyth, Essex ~
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October 2021

Join Tim at the Watershed Studio for two days of mastering oil and a palette knife to create a series of mini masterpieces.

Cost: £170 including delicious farmhouse lunches, afternoon cake and refreshments on tap
10am to 4.30pm approx

Learn how to create compact paintings of a variety of subjects from still life to wild life!
Share Tim’s love of using the knife to spread large amounts of paint onto a small canvas. The application of paint using a knife gives a chalky and a more stylish effect. When different colours are used one over the other, the ability to show fragmented depth and make the painting pop is greater using this method of painting
Knife painting is also very effective when a lot of texture is required when working. For example, when painting frothy sea waves, clouds, a woodland or even cupcakes.
The knife offers results that can’t be achieved easily with a brush. This course is ideal for those that wish to learn a new painting skill or to enhance their oil painting skills.
